Welcome to the March edition of the Career Newsletter! We have already seen a lot of lunchlectures this academic year and also some interesting trainings and informal activities with companies. For the rest of the academic year, there is even more! We still have a training, business case and a lot of lunchlectures in this third quartile. Formorrow training: Job Orientation

After your studies the job market opens before you. A lot of companies are eager to hire the recently graduated with a technical background, but how are you ever going to make a decision about your career if you don't know what there is to choose from?

In this workshop professional recruiters from the company Formorrow (previously known as Procam) will explain you everything about job orientation and the job market. You will discover your strengths and interests through a presentation as well as in smaller group discussions, such that you can make the right choice.

The following topics will be discussed:
- What are the developments on the IT job market?
- Which directions and functions are there within IT?
- How can you orient yourselves on the IT job market?

Internships at UniPartners

At UniPartners we take on (technical) challenges in the company life. However, we often see that copmanies contact us with Computer Science related questions. We do not have enough knowledge at UniPartners to give a good indication on how long developing such projects would take, and what is needed to finish such a project in a nice way. For this reason, we are searching for an IT manager that helps us with conversations at companies and help with setting up project specifications.
